 Password

From a prior postMy email confirmation for my 2009 order also contained a password - last year TTB did not change the password until the books were distributed. This password will change each year with the release of the latest edition. Users will have to re-enter the new password into their user profile once per year. If you are a current year customer but have not yet received your 2008 book, call 1-866-919-5277 and customer service will give you the password over the phone.

 No Cause for Worry

Same situation as last year. The company says the books are ready for shipment in a couple days, or maybe already have been sent. I would imagine the editors are working a last-minute frenzy as is often the case with new legislation.

I would think TTB is in total control as to when to de-activate the old passwords, and will not do so until everyone has had the opportunity to receive their merchandise. My guess is that there will be perhaps a two-week period when both passwords may be valid.Comment

As promised, we included all new tax developments in Tab 1 that were available as of December 1st. We started shipping on December 8th. Everyone who has ordered will receive their books before the end of the year. We will probably hold off deactivating last year’s password until the end of the year. Until then, both the old and new password will work.Comment

Received both of my books today, Individual & Small Business. I also ordered the binders for this year, thought I would try them and see how it works. I do like the idea of being able to add/subtract/multiply/divide pages throughout the tax season. Pullled the binding thingy off of the books and placed them in the binders. No sweat.

Now I just wish that the CD would release earlier than 1/10/10, so I could get that installed.

Brad I ordered the network/multi license version of the web cd this year no hardcopy book.As promised, we included all new tax developments in Tab 1 that were available as of December 1st. Does this come with a password? If so will all my employees be able to use this to access the board? Also would you think of extending your password deadline until all purchasers of the Web Cd have there copy with the new password?
 ThanksComment
