Just wondering if anyone knows of a good tax update course for 2009 online.

I will be using Drake this year and I thought they had one online but not sure.

Would appreciate any help.

Drake and others

Drake does offer several courses online, free to users. There are a couple of personal courses, a corporation one and a partnership one.

Also Funcpe.com offers several courses at a very competitive price.

I have not used Drake yet, but have used NATP and The Tax Book. I prefer The Tax Book. I order it, do what I can before tax season, then finish it up after tax season, and I am 8 hours ahead for that year. It also makes a good reference book, and cheaper that NATP. There is also a place called CPE Depot, you pay one reasonable price and can do as many as you want, but I have not used them yet. When I find something good like The Tax Book I stick with it.

Log into Drake support here http://www.drakesoftware.com/Support/. After logging in, click on Training tools, then Drake ETC. From here, you register for the courses you want to take, and they are free. If you haven't already, register for the Drake forum after you log in. It will be under Resources.

I used CPE Depot through the year for my EA CPE. I logged into Drake and it looks like they haven't updated their training courses for 2009 yet. I don't think. When is the TTB coming out? Mid December?
