    home sale with business use at a loss

    actual cost of home cost more than sale price......is it possible to reduce depreciation amount by the loss amount......doubtful but what is your opinion?

      if it was office in home depreciation, the basis (cost plus improvements) is reduced by the amount of depreciation taken.
