    Accountable plan

In an earlier post JG was so kind to provide some links to accountable plan samples. In one of them is a statement that says:

Once this accountable plan is in effect, neither the employee nor the company may amend it.

That doesn't make much sense to me. Does it to someone else?

Gretel, doesn't make sense to me either. I agree that JG has been very accommodating and helpful to me as well, but if you read that statement on a link I would have to take issue with it.

It may not make sense to us, but remember, such a plan is like any legal contract,
that which is agreed to by both parties.

So maybe the plan itself can not be amended, but the corporate board of directors in
regular meeting may simply vote to discard it and start anew with another plan.

The simple statement "may not be amended" is not a contract.
