I must be behind the times
I knew change was being contemplated but I thought that as of right now only EAs, those CPAs and Tax Attorneys who have enrolled themselves (the vast majority I would think) and anyone else while doing permitted representation had to worry about Circular 230.
Of course the individuals involved in two cases of documented misspeaking have been let go but let's remember that Acorn is as loosely organized as is the Tea Party Movement so it isn't fair to assume that every documented instance of behavior an outsider may take issue with is rooted in the will of the top people. -
