    Energy Credit?

Client had a roof put on non-residential rental property. The company that makes the roof has told them that the product qualifies for an energy credit. Client is going back to them to see about getting a certificate showing qualification.

I have gone through the Deluxe TTB looking for handling of this. However, all I can find are references to residential energy credits. Is there not a credit available for non-residential rental property? This is not in a corporate or partnership - it is an individual return in case this affects handling.

If there is a credit available, can you please point me to discussion on it?

    Thanks,
    LT
Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

        I recall reading

that there is a credit for (business?) that installs a Metal roof. You may want to check this out.
