    I believe these are for payments from qualified education programs under Sections 529 or 530.

        Check out chapter 8 in IRS Publication 970 for information on distributions from qualified tuition plans.

          A distribution reported on 1099-Q may be taxable if it was not used for qualified education expenses.

                  Rollover

                  I had someone come in with a 529 rollover. I couldn't find where it would go so I ignored it since it was a rollover. Where does it get reported?
