    Nephew buying home

    Nephew buying home from uncle. Will he qualify for the 1st time home credit. Says close relative - spouse, parent, grandparent - does uncle qualify. Probably will not buy it from the 83 old uncle if does not.

    Lineal descendants do not qualify but a collateral descendant would qualify.
