    Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency

Just need to clarify that I understand the new energy tax credits for 2009 and 2010. Most are up to $1500. Does this mean 1500 cumulatively. In other words, if they put in new windows and get a $1500 credit for the windows, can they also put on a new roof and get 1500 for the roof too. Or is it only 1500 one time regardless of how many different credits they are entitled to?

For the Non Business Energy Credit, ยง25C, the 1500 is a cumulative maximum. That is, 30% up to 1500 maximum for 2009 and 2010 combined - not 1500 for each year.
