    Loan Amortization Calculator Principal

The Loan Amortization in The Tax Book online program (the one under tools), I have a request. I would like a place where you can also put in the monthly payment. So you have 1, principle, 2 percent, 3, number of payments, 4 monthly payment. If you leave one of these blank it will solve for the unknown factor. I like your amortization calculator, but it comes up short for several of the things I use it for. I want to be able to show people what the difference is if you just add 25 or 50 dollars to the monthly payment. Also so many times I know the payment, interest, principle, but the unknown factor is how many payments, the note just says until paid.

    Similar

That would be similar to what is available in the CFS Tax Tools - to solve for unknown which does come in handy from time to time

      Amortization Schedule

If you go out on the www.vertex42.com website, they have dozens of different templates for loan repayments. I use the loan amortization schedule for one of my clients since they add an extra principal payment to their loan. They have a specific box just for the extra monthly principal payment. Good luck!

Use Excel to create a Loan Amortization Schedule that includes optional extra payments - an easy-to-use amortization calculator.

On The Tax Book Home page. It is 2 tabs from the right, up towards the top some gray boxes. There is a lot of good stuff there.

            Huh?

I know I have trouble with geometry and directions, but two tabs from the right on the home page is CPE Exams. And, those tabs are black, not gray. Above that is a yellowish box and then nothing. Along the left is a list in gray with TaxBook Tools in the middle, but that's just stuff like the log book and holder. Is it by subscription only? Why doesn't my page have gray boxes as described?

              Loan Amortization Schedule

www.accountantsworld.com also has a section of its board (lower left) that has a group of financial calculations.

Thanks. I have the WebCD. I thought in earlier times it was right on the webpage.

Are you using a pdf reader other than Acrobat?

It would take about 10 minutes to generate this on an excel spreadsheet.
You can change any variable you desire.
