    403(b) Limits 2007

    Does anyone know the elective deferral limits for 2007? 2006 is 15,000 + 5,000 over 50 make up. Your help is appreciated.

    The 2007 amounts are indexed for inflation. The inflation factor for 2007 amounts is determined by using the consumer price index from September 1, 2005, through August 31, 2006. The CPI for August are usually announced sometime within the first two weeks of September. After which, several private sources usually estimate the 2007 numbers by the middle of September. The IRS releases the official numbers in October or November.
