    My strategy is probably going to work better in Phoenix than in Phenix. I have a regular fee structure, based on what the chain tax prep firms charge. Those discounts work well here but probably would not in a smaller community, especially if clients know each other and can compare.

      Not just a problem in smaller communities, but also in a referral based practice, where people who normally wouldn't question a fee, will question why their fee is $50 or $5 more than their dad, neighbor, co-worker, etc who referred them.

      Too much over-share among clients!
