Client needs to file 706. She set up a special needs trust for her daughter and I am putting this info into part 4, section 5. My question is in the relationship column, do I say "Trust" or "Daughter". I thought Trust, as there is an EIN, but thought I should check to see if it's important or not.

I found it. It's "Trust".

Yes, she's giving monies to the new Trust or funding the Trust, so you're reporting her gift going from her to the Trust. I seem to be working every weekend; glad to know I have company!
