I have a new client who received $7133 extra income in his social security for 2005. This was to correct an error made in the past. Box 3 includes 468. paid in 2005 for 2004
456.00 paid in 2005 for 2003; 444.00 paid in 2005 for 2002; 444.00 paid in 2005 for 2002; 432.090 paid in 2005 for 2001; and 5221.00 paid in 2005 for other tax years.
Now here is the situation with all his social secuirty income and all other income none of his income is large enough for any of the social security including the 7133 payment to be taxable income.
Am I correct in assuming that I do nothing in this situation? Thanks
