ProSeries Users, we need to UNITE..

Its seems ProSeries favors enhancements in which many ProSeries users have requested. I have requested ProSeries for the last 3 yrs to start supporting AZ form 140 filing status MFS. I have concluded that AZ-Dept of Rev does accept via efile, this form and filing status so the ball is in ProSeries court. I have 3 clients who file MFS for which I also prepare their business returns. If these clients were to leave due to my ProSeries not able to efile their AZ return, this would be a large revenue loss for me.

Enhancement request for ProSeries to support e-filing Arizona form 140 filing status MFS.

Also, please post your description of your desired enhancement on this board so I can request your enhancement through Live Community.

Will Intuit give you Lacerte free to use as pay-per-return for those more complex returns that ProSeries does not handle?

and left Proseries after 3 seasons, mostly because they never bothered, despite repeated requests, to support MN E-file for S-Corp returns. About half of my business is S-Corp, and as much as I enjoyed actually going to the DOR and handing the returns to the processing department, I got a little tired of dealing with so much paper.

Hey Joe...any anyone else who would like to make a suggestion to ProSeries..here is the email address for one of their production managers...she is among the people who has the power to decide what will go into the new program each year.

I say, why bother with the bottom of the ladder...lets all go right to the top and send all of our requests, suggestions and questions straight to her office.

It took a lot of searching on my part to find her and she assured me that she is very interested in hearing from PS pros on how to better their program for us.

I use ProSeries too and I do S Corps and efile their fed and State of MN. The efiling started around 3 yrs ago. (my memory is not the greatest so it could be more/less) I too kept requesting software to include efiling. Finally they did. So I'm not quite sure what type problems you were running up against.

Lucky you, we still don't have efiling of business returns in Hawaii. One thing I am asking for this year is the ability to verify SSN's. It doesn't make sense to me that payroll clerks are allowed to do this and we who, in may cases have better accrediation can't. One is not required to be licensed in any way to be a payroll clerk.

I wrote to Heather

I just sent an email to Heather with two suggestions.
First is to get rid of the message taht you can't efile a return with more than 1 Form 1116. Years ago the IRS did not allow this but about 3 years ago this changed. I have been efiling these since the IRS started to allow it and have not had a problem.

The other suggestion was about MA.

Let's see what comes of it.

I want to be able to verify SSN's, have consistancy in column heading options for each homebase screen, shorter column heading titles and I haven't decided what else yet.
