Anyone figured out what the file names in the ProSeries program mean. If you have a list would you share it. The company wont.

Not sure if this is what you are asking, but.....
I had to reinstall my program last year due to some files getting corrupted in Proseries. Tech support walked me throught the process. The important files are located in the 05Data folder or whichever year's program you are working with; i.e. 04Data, etc. These are the actual data files for each return. There are also some configuration files located in the Common folder with information like firm name, preparer info, etc. I think all the other files and folders are from the installation CD or internet updates.Comment
