Where on 1120S to report 401(k) contribution?

An S corporation's gross payroll before 401(k) contribution was $661,596. In addition, $50,000 contribution was made for 401(k) plan.
So, I reported $661,596 on 1120S line 7 Compensation & 8 Salaries since the form instruction says "Do not include.... contributions to a section 401(k)..." Then, I reported $50,000 on line 17 Pension, Profit-Sharing, etc., Plans.
An AXA financial company agent left a message "... since I reported $50,000 on line 17, the corporation must pay additional contribution to a pension plan.

Then, what is the correct ways to report 401(k) contribution & regular wages on 1120S?

Contributions comes in two flavors. Employee's and employer's which are you referring to. I would assume you are talking about employer's since employee's contributions are not reported on the 1120S.

Yes, it is a pension deduction. AXA may have some issues.

      401(k) contribution

If this is an employer's match of $ 50,000, then tell the 800 pound gorilla to go back to his TV advertising and stay out of the tax preparation business.

The employee's contribution is included in the gross wages shown on Page 1 of the 1120S, on either Line 7 or 8. I agree that the employer portion of the retirement contribution should be reflected on Line 17 on Page 1.
