    Appraisal Fee

    Appraisal fees for real estate tax appeal hearing.

    Would they be deductible on Schedule A Misc Deductions?

    I'm saying no.....

      For what kind of property? Investment, Business ,Residential?

          Appraisal fee was paid for expert testimony in a divorce case.

          The properties involved were personal and investment.

              The portion related to the investment property would be deductible and so would the attorney fees,
