Partnership terminates 4/30/09 - so will be a short year return, calendar year

Can we file partnership return now on 2008 forms, or do we have to wait until the 2009 forms are released?

If the '09 forms are not available when you need them, it's my understanding that you can file the '09 on the '08 form by marking the top of the return "2009".

I knew that you could file on the prior year forms if not available for form 1041, but was not sure if you could file for Form 1065.
