Window to amend a 2005 S-Corp?

I am going to guess that window closed on March 15th, 2009? Correct?

I don't know if there is a time frame for filing amended returns. However, there is for getting a refund.

Could this sort of situation be another good reason to file an extension on corp returns even if the intent is to file the return by 3/15?

For CA purposes I would say yes.

But then again, we are talking about an s-corp. I overlooked that in my original post.
