    Copies of Tax Returns

I am submitting copies of the tax returns to IRS auditor, audit year and subsequent year.
Auditor does not have access, but we have heard that before.

When doing this, should these copies be marked "copies do not file" or something to that effect?

Sandy, I have always marked them as "copies" when providing them to auditors. Personally, those bastards should get copies from their own files, we nor our clients should be providing them. What balls they have.

      Thought So

      Thanks DSI,

Thought so, just wanted to make sure. They are stating now that returns are being filed electronically, they don't have access to the actual return.

So much for the Paper Reduction Act.

Which they would get with the 21st Century and use Emails, then I could PDF, but that isn't availabe either.
