I wanted to do laundry and was picking up a big pile of it and the phone rang. Took care of verge of hysteria client that owes 10k and went to put in laundry. roommate has laundry in dryer and washer. Say get your stuff outa the laundry machines because I need to do laundry...well I still haven't done any and now its too late to do sheets cuz i'll need em soon...because its close to bedtime...well, within three or four hours of it...

On tax analysts there is a thread for 'what did you eat the most of this tax season'...maybe I shouldn't wash the jeans because they're getting hard to zip after I get them out of the dryer...

      Bedtime?

You have bedtime in April? I did fall asleep twice in the doctor's waiting room during the twenty minutes I had to wait after an allergy shot last Monday. But, that was in a chair and not even in the same town as my bed. Needless to say, I haven't washed my sheets. I haven't even seen my sheets lately!

I'm gonna get some sleep soon. I have to sleep; its the one luxury I get. I just shoved a bunch of stuff in the laundry machine; no clean sheets but I did get the pillowcase the cat puked on in there. not quite sure what else. some undies and t shirts I think. Got all the extension efiles created. sent emails to clients I haven't heard from. efiled some of the extensions. figured out the little old lady coming in tomorrow hopefully with her 1099-Rs (last time she had her SS form and the charitable reciepts; a huge stack of e'm) still aint gonna itemize. I'm gonna charge her for adding up all those frickkin recipts too.

LOL!!! "...but I did get the pillowcase the cat puked on in there." One thing every cat owner knows - dried cat barf is so much easier to clean up

Every morning when I'm changing the cat litter I think to myself, "Ah, the life of the urban professional woman!"

My little boy cat learned how to spray one day. He was delighted and went to every door and window spritzing happily. We don't approve of spraying cats and made that known. Little boy cat took the opportunity to spray the back of my head at 2AM. Thank goodness he grew out of that nasty habit or drastic measures would have had to be taken. Or else I'd be sleeping with a shower cap on my head. You have to be a creative thinker in order to really get along with a cat.

Oh my Gosh, you people are way too funny! I thought I was a minority, guess not. I live with four boys, my husband and three kids - yes all boys, and I'm the only one without clean underwear - do you think they care!?! Well kind of, because they know I get very crabby when I need to do a load of laundry just to have a clean pair.

Then the socks - for three months I have one dedicated basket just for the socks because they just can't seem to figure out how to match more than one pair at a time, so it's a match by day deal!

              Darn

Like your sheets, I thought I could wash my bathrobe and have it dry by the time I needed it. But, procrastinating on getting towels out of the dryer meant I never put my robe IN the dryer, so it's clean but wet. I'd forgotten about it. When I expect clients, I dress. But, when no clients are expected, I'm in my robe and fuzzy slippers. I went to grab it off the hook this morning and realized it's still in the washer. Well, I had to dress anyway with one client and the allergist and my very part-time assistant tonight, but I may spend the next two days in my robe if I go get the towels...

I put my husband's socks on the bed for him to deal with during tax season. He used to sort them the same night. Now, he moves them to the hope chest at the end of the bed where they sit until he gets to them. Clients see that messy stack as they walk down the hall to my home office. I guess I have to start a basket on the floor for him, too, like my basket on the floor.

                      Did laundry last week

I did laundry last week. My husband won't do laundry or cook. He will bring in take out "sometimes". He eats peanut butter and banana and peanuts.

I eat whatever doesn't have to be cooked.

I just now got to go to the bathroom since this morning.

I wonder if I will go to bed tonight. Maybe if I send emails to my clients that have the time of 3:30 AM on it, they will feel sorry for me. Nah.....probably not.

Linda - I sent an email out at around 3AM. Client called me at 7AM to discuss.

If he's on the payroll, tell him the uniform of the day (army term) is .. nothing!

Really though, there is NO law that says underwear must be worn.
