TP daughter is 19, only made 3200, is not a student, still lives at home, and father supports her. Wouldn't she be a qualifying relative, not a qualifying child? I have always told parents they can't claim after 19 if kid isn't in school, but with the qualifying relative thing, as long as kid doesn't work too much and lives off mom and dad, I assume they can still claim. On dependent's relationship line, do you put daughter, or other (meaning QR). I guess the main thing is the gross income, and the support? Age doesn't seem to enter in like I thought it used to.
