    brand new pub 1345

    Check this out -- a new Pub 1345 was posted on irs this week. That other one was old.

    Kind of late

    Good timing for the IRS. A new 1345.

    Like tax season is just about over.

    And many of us are swamped with work and won't have time to read until after the 15th!

      I'd say every return that's affected by the new 1345, and which hasn't been completed by this point, should go on extension.

        Looks like they removed the reject codes from 1345 and made the information more generic. Basically removing the obsolete info & "future proofing" this version?
