    Immigration attorney fees

    Would you deduct immigration attorney fees? Canadian fellow took a job in the US and migrated here.

      It sounds to me

      like he arranged to have taxable income and had legal expenses to arrange to be able to have the taxable income legally. I would deduct such in a heart beat under the general rule.
