If the taxpayer does not have enough Sch A deductions to surpass the Fed standard deduction and takes standard deduction, does any of the Fed Sch A deductions flow to the CA individual return? Hopefully I worded that correctly.

CA & IRS Sch A
I enter all itemized deductions on IRS Sch A in the hopes that it will exceed the CA standard deductions, however, all CA taxes withheld and SDI payments will be backed out of the calculation when figuring the CA adjustment.Confucius say:
