    Form 2555 and ProSeries

Just got off the phone with ProSeries tech support. The lady I talked to learned something new and that PS does not support an additional form 2555 form which means my client with 2 employers will need to mail in his tax return. Is the lady at PS correct?

How about you other software users, does your software only support 1 form 2555?

The issue with two 2555 would be doubling up on the exclusion. Obviously you don't get twice the exclusion for having two jobs, and the form isn't really setup to work like that with mulitples. The instructions for the form don't seem to indicate how to file when you have two employers.

What I would likely end up doing is creating a statement for the employer information and then on the 2555 referring to the statement. My software, like yours, doesn't support multiple 2555 for the same person (I can do 1 taxpayer 1 spouse).

I'll also note that the IRS only accepts 1 per spouse if filing electronically.
