Hello, thinking of getting the taxbook. Primarily doing only 1040's. Would it still benefit me to get the deluxe version anyway? I see that there is some other info contained besides 1065's, etc. Thanks.

The Tax Book
It truly is great! So much information and the editors incorporated a lot of issues that have been discussed in the past. The examples and comments help to understand the information. The Deluxe Edition is nice since I only have to have one book by my desk rather than 2, and no duplication of information.
Worth every penny!

The deluxe edition includes info on a decedent's final return, payroll tax issues for your Schedule C clients, and a nifty W-4 worksheet, all of which are not included in the 1040 Edition.
Also at the end just before the index, there is a topical index linking info to all IRS Pubs (only in the Deluxe Edition) if you can't find the answer in TTB.Comment
