SEP and Simple for self-employed

    SEP and Simple for self-employed

    I'm confussed,

    Can a self-employed individual with no employees, except themselves have both a SEP and a Simple (two different plans) for contribution purposes in a single year?

      No

      You cannot have another plan if you have a SIMPLE plan.
      I would put a favorite quote in here, but it would get me banned from the board.
