    Fire destroyed Rental...

    Rental was being depreciated. I see under Sch A "other misc deduction - not 2% subject" it list "Casualty/theft losses of income-producing property". Is that the correct place to enter?

      That's the way I see it. Goes on line 28 Sch. A

              Yes, insurance did cover some....

              Yes, insurance did coverage some. I see ProSeries has a worksheet to inlcude, basis, insurance, etc.
