    energy credits for windows

    Can anyone verify for me that energy saving windows are allowed a credit in 08. I can find the credit for 09, but not 08. Taxpayer states they were told of the credit when they purchased windows in 08.

      Sorry, the credit is not available for 2008. See TTB page 11-13. Credit is available for 2009 and 2010, but not 2008.
