    Fixing Depreciation

    Is it allowable to amend the open years to fix depreciation and then do form 3115 to fix the depreciation for th clsoed years?

    I believe you will find that if a depreciation method was used for 2 or more years it is considered a change in accounting methods to correct it and you must file a request for a change of accounting method.
