    IRA of a deceased tp

TP died in Sept 05 - Spouse is non working - qualifies to contribute to an IRA - over 50 yrs. TP has W-2 for Sick pay. Can a contribution be made for them now?

Seems like a silly answer since he is deceased but I know that RMD's must be withdrawn for deceased individuals if they haven't taken them prior to death.

TTB page 13-10, any taxable amounts included in box 1 of the W-2 count as compensation for purposes of qualifying for an IRA contribution.
