    Recovery Act tax credit

    Husband received SSA. Wife had no income and is a dependent of their daughter. They are not required to (and therefore will not) file a 2008 income tax return.

    As for the Recovery Act tax credit, I think the husband will get $250. Will the wife get anything?

    Unless the wife is also receiving some type of government payment (listed in the recovery act as eligible) - she would not get anything.
