If taxpayer is retiring this year and has healthcare available at reduced cost premiums through his uniion until Medicare kicks in, and his wife continues self employment in her own business, am I correct that she may deduct their health care premiums for the time after his retirement? If so, do the premiums need to be paid for by a check from her business?
