    FEIN name doesnt match IRS

    Have two W2Gs from local casino - EF was rejected because FEIN/name on W2G doesnt match IRS database? How can I check the IRS database to find out correct FEIN/name?

      You might first contact the local casino. They may be already aware of the problem. I had a similar case this year and the payer was already working on it.

          You might also

          try calling the state "business" office and see if you can cross check from the state ID #.
