Perhaps I have had to much coffee and tea to drink but I have confused myself. 1099-G Table A box 1 Unemployment of $580 No problem I get that. Same 10099-g but then we have Table B Box 1 Unemployment Compensation-Paid Family Leave(UC-PFL) $1572 then box with no number PFL Payments $1572. Does this amount get reported as another 1099-G entry or not be reported at all? How are you all handeling this? COffee and no sleep and tax returns not a good combo!

State
Not sure which State Dustoffgirl is referring to, but California reports unemployment and paid family leave on the same 1099G.
It is the way the State treats the payments, there have been instances where the t/p was receiving unemployment benefits , then the benefits were converted to Paid Family Leave.

Thanks ST
Yes it is California. So i assume you are making 2 entries in you 1099G screen one for the Unemployment and one for PFL. Lacerte does not have a seperate entry spot for the PFL so I was messing my self up. Thanks againComment
