    chapter 11 to chap 7

I'm lost here and need some help. Client filed chap 13 in 2007 which was transferred to chap 7 in 2008. Client was insolvent prior to bankruptcy and did not receive any 1099-C or A. Is it still necessary to fill out a 982 with the items on sched E of the court docs?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    do not receive such forms.

Now if it were an individual going from chapter 13 to 7, then he would.

      I'm confused -- sorry

client went from chap 13 to chap 7. But still no 1099's C or A.
      Is a 982 required?
      Thanks.

I only answered what I could with my limited knowledge.

          ok ChEAr$

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I'll have to call an attorney's office if I can't get an answer on TTB.
          Thanks again.
