Foreign Tax Paid

Have a complex trust 1041 where money has been invested in various securities. There is a total of $62 in "Foreign Tax Paid."

I don't see a provision on Form 1041 (or my software) which allows for any benefit to this. Anyone know?

If this were an invididual, this would be allowed as a credit, subject to Form 1116 if over a certain limit.

Use form 1116

For a trust there is no automatic, non form 1116 credit. You have to do a 1116 to compute the allowable credit. My software has form 1116 in the 1041 package.
