Client donated car and received 1098-C for sales price of vehicle. I put all info on the non cash contr form. Page 4-20 of 1040 Tax Book states that written acknowledgement from charity must be attached to the return. Does this requirement preclude Efiling the return?

You can still e-file--attach the 1098-C to Form 8453, there should be a screen in your software to check a box telling your software that you have a 1098-C.
