    Form 1099-int Savings Bond?

Have a 1099-INT that has $81 in box 3 under Interest on US Savings Bonds and Treas. obigations. Haven't saw one --only interest income. When I put it in box 3 it comes out on the state. Am I doing this right?

    US Savings Bond Interest

Is usually Tax Exempt for State and Local Taxes.

Don't know what State you are in, and don't know what software you are using.
My software on Schedule B has a special section to enter US Govt Savings Interest.
