In Pub 17 and 463 it discusses tax home and then gives an e.g. of someone who works in Baltimore most and in Pittsburgh least, 12 weeks a year. He lives in Pittsburgh. Tax home Baltimore.
Then it says " However, when you return to work in Pittsburgh, you are away from your tax home even though you stay at yur family home. You can deduct the cost of your round trip between Baltimore and Pittsburgh. You can also deduct your part of your family's living expenses for meals and lodging while you are living and working in Pittsburgh."
I have this situation with a client coming in next week. So my question is"
What would "lodging" expenses include???
