    Although Daschle had known since June 2008 that he needed to correct his tax returns, he never expected the amount to be such a "jaw-dropping" sum and "thought it was being taken care of" by his accountant, spokeswoman Jenny Backus said.
    Once again, having tax issues no longer appears to be a problem if you know the right people. Just blame everything on your accountant.

    "Just blame everything on your accountant", I saw that too this morning on the news, had me shaking my head.

    With all these tax issues it seems we might be able to tighten that tax gap if every politician was audited!
