    Hoh

Child lives mostly with Dad, Dad lets Mom claim child as dependent. Can Dad still claim HOH and nothing else.

Divorced-- Not sure what decree states, but if it does state Mom gets every other year, can Dad still claim HOH?

If Dad is the custodial parent and paid more than 1/2 of keeping up the home of the qualifying child he should be able to claim Head of Household. If he qualifies he could also be eligible for EIC. He should sign Form 8332 to give to the noncustodial parent.

Don't you think it is easier to say what I did then to repeat everything that has been recently posted. I'm not the one getting testy. I am trying to point people in a direction that has already answered this over and over and over. taxea
