    Energy Credit/Furnace/Windows?

    Was these credits extended thru 2008? I thought I heard something about it in a seminar but not sure when client came in with these items?

      NO for 08, YES for 09

      They were extended, but only for 09, so they do not apply for 08.

          Good in '09 but not '08

          There were some changes though, certain stoves that use renewable plant-derived fuel and asphalt roofs with cooling granules were added.

          Geothermal heat pump property is no longer qualifying building property for this credit. Geo heat pump does qualify under the Residential Alternative Energy Credit for 2008-2016.
