Is it necessary to mail NOL papers to IRS when efiling. At one time it was required that you send NOL papers with an 8453 to the IRS. Thanks

Instruction still say mail in form.
If you are an ERO, you must mail Form
8453 to the IRS within 3 business days
after receiving acknowledgement that the
IRS has accepted the electronically filed
tax return.

8453 is a non signature transmittal form for certain attachments that relate to an electronically file 1040. Google 8453 to see the types of forms required.
