Just to clarify what I've read:
The IRS website has W-2's and W-3 forms but if you submit them to the SSA you can be fined. You are supposed to use original copies.
But for the past 6 years I've printed my W-2's and W-3's from Quickbooks (not using the originals) and were never fined.
If I print off the W-2 forms from the IRS website with a laser printer, what are the odds the SSA is going to fine me? They look exactly like the Quickbook versions I've used in the past.
