    Louisiana Preparers and Proseries

It seems as though Proseries is not an accepted software for efile.
Has any other Louisiana preparer having the problem of not being able to efile Louisiana.

Probably that's temporary. Often it happens that a software company can't get the state approval until late. They can also get approval for efile only and not paper or vice versa.

YES, but Drake said Louisiana would download to them soon and we could update to get it. Hopefully soon. I have had 14 clients already and half had to pay. More paperwork for me to send them their copy to own later when it will be downloaded.

Drake put out an email on January 6 stating that Louisiana was now approved for efile. All you had to do was download the update.
Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

Just in from State of La

"This software provider has not been approved by Louisiana yet. The delay is not on the department's side per our E-Services Unit.

I am told that we hope to have this provider approved shortly.

          Barbara Davis
          Office of the Secretary"

It seems as though Proseries is not as of yet and accepted software company this year.
After 15 years efiling Louisiana all of a sudden this year they are not an accepted company go figure.

Interesting.......So is it Intuit in general? That would be Turbo-tax too, correct?

                Approved

Looks as though Proseries was approved for Louisiana on 01/23/09. Proseries will probably
have to send out an update for Louisiana before we can efile. Ayee
