    NC Nonprofit

What is the base form filed in NC by a Nonprofit? Is the answer the same for all years from 2006 to the present? I must be brain dead because I not only can't remember I can't figure it out from the NCDOR website.

Check the NC Secretary of State's website.

      Non Profit Filing

The Secretary of State would only have a filing of the organization's existence.

What you need to do - is check with the State Attorney General's Office - Charities Bureau - that requires the filing.

        Client has letter from NCDOR

saying that he did not file required forms with them but not mentioning what forms. Kind of like if the IRS were to write and say he didn't file his individual tax return but fail to mention Form 1040 EZ 1040 A and 1040 as the base forms depending on his situation.

The NCDOR is committed to helping taxpayers comply with tax laws in order to fund public services benefiting the people of North Carolina.

            TY for all Responses

Lion especially TY for that link.

In the mean while I finally figured out by playing with Zillion Forms that the base form is the same for a nonprofit as for a C Corp.
