    Real Estate Taxes

Just read that there can be a Real Estate Tax deduction for those who don't itemize. Suppose to be for this year and next year. (Don't know why I didn't pick up on this earlier.
Anyway I use ATX and was fooling aroung with the worksheet that accompanies line 39c.
Not sure if it is working correct as It doesn't pick up my self employment income on line 3
Also think there is some wrong instructions on line 7/8.
    Anybody know something?
    Thanks in advance

It was part of the Housing Assistance Act of 2008, along with the first-time homebuyer credit and other stuff.
